Sunrise over a mountainside

Fyze Tulyag

Welcome.

My name is Fyze Tulyag. I studied Mathematics and Humanities at Yale. I left to help build an early-stage company.

I spend a great deal of time thinking about chance, fortune, and risk: as mathematical subjects; as determinants of social and economic outcomes; as elements of civic and political life; and as lenses through which we understand agency versus contingency. I enjoy stories of people beating the odds, and I enjoy games of chance.

I fenced competitively for many years.
